  1. Lol... You've gone too far. You are correct in guessing the application part where my wife if primary applicant can lead to a successful grant. But you are totally wrong in understanding the relationship matters. We are lawfully wedded. Its just that she's in dual minds and it'd be wise enough for me to cancel the whole thing if there is a mandate for the primary applicant to enter first and stay along with me. Thats it![emoji5]
  2. Thanks matt796. That helps![emoji106]
  3. But my question is - What if the primary applicant never arrives in australia? What are the consequences?
  4. Well AJ that may be the case. Still preparing for assessment though. Just want to keep all information handy. Sent from my Redmi Note 3 using Tapatalk
  5. Would it impact the dependents PR visa if the main applicant never makes an entry? Sent from my Redmi Note 3 using Tapatalk
  6. We can only hope. Changes to the lists are unpredictable. Sent from my Redmi Note 3 using Tapatalk
  7. Hi all, I need to know something related to this topic. After PR grant , What if the primary applicant never arrives for visa validation but the dependant does on time and continues to stay for ever. Would that be a problem in future for the deoendant? Sent from my Redmi Note 3 using Tapatalk
  8. Yes, we approached the university last month and the official asked us to get the STP(supervised teaching practice) on the college letterhead duly attested by the principal basis which the university will issue the STP certificate on the university letterhead. In our case, we are good with the following criteria 1. No. of days of STP - 60 days 2. Age range of students - 13-18 years 3. Setting - ? Need help! ( Does it mean the university campus or college campus ) To be on the safer side we are keeping the syllabus copy handy and probably will get it attested if the university officials agree to do so. Rest of the documents like passing certs, transcripts are pretty straightforward and should not have any issues.
  9. Thanks much for your wise inputs I'm clear on how to proceed with the assessment part.
  10. @ Richard - Thanks for replying to my query. My wife had 60 day teaching practice as a part of her curriculum and I understand work experience alone is not recognized by AITSL
  11. Hello All, I read a post in one of the thread stating that degrees awarded by Indian universities are not recognized and Teachers with those degrees are not eligible to apply for Immigration. Could you please tell me if that's the case or if we can go ahead and proceed for immigration with the below details My Wife - Post Graduate in English Language & Literature + 1 Year full time Bachelor's in Education (B.Ed) i.e teachers training qualification + 8 years of work experience teaching secondary school students in India's one of the highly reputed schools. Has 60 days of supervised teaching practice, however the college in which she was deputed did not award any separate document confirming the same. Upon approaching the university to which the college is affiliated we were told if they the college on their letterhead certifies the 60 day teaching practice, they can countersign or issue a certificate on the university letterhead certifying her 60 day practice as per AITSL. Please help with the information needed at the earliest!
  12. @ Scattley - What you said has bewildered me and I feel I'm back at square one. None of the degrees from Indian universities qualify ? My wife has a Masters degree in English Language & Literature and also a Bachelors in Education (B.Ed, one year full time) with 60 days of teaching practice. Please let me know if we have to drop our plans!
