  1. Dear members, I received approval for my 485 visa on November 24, 2021, and departed Australia on December 13, 2021. The expiration date of my 485 visa was May 24, 2023. I am now interested in reapplying for the 485 visa. Considering this timeline, am I eligible to apply for the Replacement stream 485 visa?
  2. Hello everyone, I applied on 13th Sept and was granted on 11th Oct. I've traveled Australia 4 times on Tourist visa so that may helped the application process a little faster.Anyways, The issue I'm having now is that I haven't added my partner in the dependent's list. Although I'll be using a Registered Migration Agent (which I'm still confused which to choose) after arriving in Australia. Until then I'd like to keep every document ready. So here are some questions that are confusing me which would be really helpful for future applicants who may get into a similar position like me:- It's written in DIBP's website that you need to show 6,940AUD for partner's 12 months living expense. So in her subsequent application if I show 10,000AUD. Would that be enough? Keep in mind that, her sponsor would be a different person than that of mine. If I want to be her sponsor for living expense, can I show the funds in my Australian bank account? What's the procedure here? I heard that in order to have a successful subsequent application you need to be married for more than 12 months. Especially from high risk countries such India, Pakistan, Bangladesh. Is that a myth? Would it effect her application if she's still studying full time and don't have any job? If she ever wants to change her mind and apply for a student visa from subsequent dependent visa? Can she apply for it onshore?
  3. What if I don't show them my past duration and only show marriage certificate? Do you have suggestions on which approved agent to speak with?
  4. Hi, I'm from Bangladesh. I've traveled Australia 4 times with Visitor visa. Now I've applied for Vocational student visa on 13th Sept 2017, the application is under progress and I'm almost certain that I'll be approved. My question is, I'm in a relationship since Apr 2014, but I haven't included my partner as a De facto as per my educational agent as it'll slim the approval rate. However, I really want her to be with me in Australia. So I'm thinking to marry her after my visa is approved. Will this be a good idea? Or should I wait a few months and then marry her? The problem is, she doesn't have any bank statement, property or any strong ties in Bangladesh which can be shown to the DIBP. So in this case, what can be the solution and what evidence do we have to show to the DIBP in order to make the marriage/relationship true and bring her to Australia with student dependent visa?
