Hi Everybody, At last wait is over. I have received my visa grant on 26 MAR 18. Thanks for my virtual friends who continuously bucked up and and provided right guidance to get the things done.

Hi Everybody, please just need your input on:Department asked me to pay the 2nd VAC for my spouse functional English on 13 MAR 2018 which I paid on 14 MAR 2018. Now when should I expect my grant. Please need your comments.

Not yet, still waiting. Have heard that they have a lot of wrokload and hence the grants are too slow.

Yes, you are right. Don't know where the things are stuck up and why they are so lazy in responding. However, just keeping the fingers crossed. When did you complete your medicals? Di you receive any call from them for any verification?

by the way, how much time they need to respond an email? I was reading somewhere that they usually respond to emails within 14 calendar days.

Hi @AVM and @Ashim, Any update on the visa? 190 visa processing time is now 7 - 9 months. I sent an email to the department to inquire about my visa. They responded that email stating that they need functional English for my spouse, although we already provided the transcripts and certificate. However, we have opted for 2nd VAC and sent them an email for that. Again we are for their response. They are very slow in responding.

Yes, good to know that, I have already passed 10 months since the application is lodged. I think, now we can contact CO to know about the application>

Hi Everybody! Can anyone comment on, why grant rate of 190 visa is slow particularly from DEC 17?

Yep, processing time has been revised. Hope it will be back to normal in JAN18

They don't respond to the emails until maximum processing time limit is crossed that, in case of 190 visa, is 6-10 months.

Hi AVM, Don't worry. I also lodged my 190 visa application on 24 MAR 17 but still waiting for the outcome. Medical & PCC done in 1st week of April. Its more than 8 months of wait, and off course its very stressful. However just keep the fingers crossed.
