Hi I’m coming over to Perth from Manchester Uk early March 2019 to visit my cousin for approx 10 days This is a holiday but also a chance to see if Perth would be a suitable place for me and my small family to relocate in early 2020 if possible I’m currently working as a bathroom fitter and fit the occasional kitchen so I have qualifications in plumbing/tiling/joinery I’m just seeing if any ex pat or local tradesmen would be kind enough for me to meet them or give them a free hand for a day and see how the work is over in Perth long shot but worth a try. Thanks pomqueen I used to do a lot of disability adapted bathrooms aswell but looks quite far from Where we are staying if u manage to speak to your friend let him no my situation and get me his details if poss thanks Adam

Hi all we just landed in Brisbane 1 week ago and are now on the Gold coast(Miami) What an amazing place such lovely places and friendly people nothing like Bach home (dull and grey Manchester) Even the rain is better over here [emoji23] We are considering the prospect of relocating over so asking if anybody can recommend a very good recruitment person who has high end contacts in the luxury management sector for the Mrs and I’m a bathroom fitter so tilling-plumbing-joiner or builder who can offer advise I would Love to spend a day with a tradesman see what the actual work life is like especially in this heat if anyone had Local contact on the Gold or Sunshine Coast we are here for another couple off weeks and would also love to meet up with any ex pat families to share they’re experiences and offer advice? Hi just wondering if you need any certificates or a white card if you wanted to remove And replace a bathroom suite and tiles in a private residential customers home ? Are u breaking the law by not having any official Aussie training or recognition as in the uk as long a you know what you are doing there is no problem in carrying out this type of work in a private home as long as you are not messing with the gas or boiler Even though I have the official training I have never once been asked to see certificates usually previous pictures or work and refrences only Thanks in advance adam Sent from my iPhone using PomsinOz
