A couple of questions... We have decided to engage an agent to help with our 489 visa. There are so many around and it seems a bit of a 'luck of the draw' decision with very little in the way of reviews of agents. I have found the Register of Migration Agents on mara.gov.au to ensure the agent we select is registered, but are there any recommendations? My skill is ICT so will need to be assessed by ACS so a specialist in this area would be great if there is such a niche agent. I would welcome your thoughts and resources/recommendations, this is massive decision and I want the right agent. Also any ideas on costings, I only have quote for the whole process so far so difficult to know if it's reasonable as I have no benchmark. Thanks!

Sorry if someone has asked this before but I am looking at applying for a 489 visa and associated family visas for my wife and two kids. My question, a simple one - do you suggest using an agent to handle everything or go it alone? Really good to hear anyone's experience. Thanks!
