Great! I have been looking at the 189 visa and I should be able to get in the 60 point criteria. For the proof of superior english language would a foundation degree count? Or will I need to take a separate test to prove this?

Hi, new user so sorry if this is in the wrong section. I currently work as a Toyota Mechanic and have been offered a job over in the state of Queensland. I am just researching visas but just looking for some advise for the best one to go for.. I plan to move over with my girlfriend who is a Complimentary therapist. ideally i would like a visa that will lead to possible permanent residency as we would like to move over properly bringing our dogs and hopefully purchasing a House. Would it be better to do separate visas or is there a joint visa that we could apply for? Any advise welcome as I'm currently feeling overwhelmed by all the information available. Thanks
