  1. Did any of you send by regular post office or did you use a courier? Sent using Poms in Oz mobile app

    Medicals

I read somewhere on here that non migrating family was family who are additional on your visa and not the main applicant but are travelling with you. Although I thought that sounded strange. Sounds to me like family who aren't going at all. Sent using Poms in Oz mobile app

    Medicals

Anyone seen this? It says that anyone additional to your visa (not the main applicant) no longer needs the medical unless required. Yet I can't see further info to confirm this anywhere. So I'm unsure if it's just me who should get one. Sent using Poms in Oz mobile app

On further investigation today, I agree that you're right. It's only if he doesn't have functional English. I seen on the website today also when you log into immi account that additional people on your visa no longer need medicals unless requested. Can't find any further info on this though. I am confused about the instalment fees I am reading about. On the immigration website where I calculate visa fees it says it's £2245 for me as the skilled independent applicant and £1125 for my partner (additional applicant over 18) and £565 for my three year old son. £3935 is the total. Now is that what I pay in Total or are there second instalment charges on top of this £3935?? Sent using Poms in Oz mobile app
  6. Oh I haven't done it yet - due to soon. Finding the practise papers quite pernickety about the answers though. How have you found it? Sent using Poms in Oz mobile app
  7. Thanks! I thought they must do that as you can't realistically apply for all at the same time. Sent using Poms in Oz mobile app
  8. As far as I know you have to present to the Australian AHPRA office to which you applied, within 12 WEEKS of being accepted. I am applying to ANMAC just now and then for my visa. Then I will apply to AHPRA. Sent using Poms in Oz mobile app
  9. Does anyone know....if I ask the IELTS test centre to send results to AHPRA and the NMC to send a letter of good standing before I have actually applied (as I'm waiting on my skills assessment coming through) do they hold things on file for you and match it with your application when they receive it? Thanks in advance, Kerri Sent using Poms in Oz mobile app
  10. Hi Zoe! I'm applying for the same visa as you. So far I've contacted uni for my transcripts and paid a fee for it so it should be on it's way and I'm doing IELTS in July too. I've requested references too. Then I'll apply to anmac with all of this. I didn't know about the NMC form so thanks for that piece of advice [emoji4] I had read about the 12 weeks to present yourself and thought that was a tight time frame. I'm just panicking in case I get visas, book flights and move and AHPRA either say no! Or just take ages! It's all very exciting and confusing at the same time. Good luck to you too x Sent using Poms in Oz mobile app
  11. Thanks so much for your reply! Very helpful and I thought I was perhaps best to wait before doing the AHPRA application. Thanks again. Sent using Poms in Oz mobile app
  12. I am currently in the process of gathering information for my anmac assessment to hopefully move to Australia. Is anyone able to help me out a bit with a few questions? 1. Do I collect information myself (such as references and transcripts) and send them to anmac or do the uni and referees have to send these directly themselves? 2. How much are the fees to apply to AHPRA? 3. Once I have a LOD (assuming I get one) do I apply to AHPRA and for my visa simultaneously? Any help would be appreciated.
