Hi Pom, never had a problem and this is the first time and like i have said it an’t that bad, they almost send me home because the result on the d-dimer was as low that could just have been a recent bump or a cut. Received meds and done a entire body scan from head to toe that showed 100% (except from the polyamory embolism). The doctor is not worried and the medication is just temporarily (prevention rather than to cure later). The travelling part he said i can go on with life as is, he is also aware of out immigration plans and gave the thumps up.

Thx, didn’t think of it as that serious as it isn’t a disease or even need for an operation. Only some medication to desolve the embolism. Will probably be gone in a few days or even already gone if treated correctly.....

Thank you very much. Do you think something like Pulmonary Embolism on the lungs is something one should inform them about?

Hi guys should something happens ( flu/car accident/ heart attack ect.) to me or my dependents after the VISA grant do i need to inform anyone. Already received PR but haven’t entered yet?

More or less in the same boat. Lodged the 26 May and front loaded everything and haven't heard anything yet..... Please let me know if and when your visa is granted

I read an article dearing the week that indicated the 65 pointers will need to wait another 3 months and the 60 pointers will need to wait till after july 2018. These are based on that the invitation rounds will stay on 1000 invites per round and in respective pro rata and non pro rata occupations. This just an opinion of 1 person

I believe @DukeNinja done it before the visa has been granted. But a the recruitment agent told us the following "Please note that AHPRA require applicants to present in person to an AHPRA office within three months of being granted ‘Approval in Principle”, before full registration can be granted.". So if your visa grant takes longer than 3 months you could run yourself into a corner..... Also note I'm a radiographer so I'm not sure if this statement above will apply the same to you...

@DukeNinja hi did you also uploaded your cv/resume with you visa application. Forgot to upload mine but not to sure if its necessary to do so? Still haven't been assigned case officers 7weeks now

@darkzmost of the stuff you will need to do by yourself even with an agent (for example your passport, payslips work reference letters, birth certificate, completing forms ect). The big thing with an agent is they guide you with the process and see to it that you don't make mistakes ect(for example see if you have enough points, the right documents, completed everything correctly ect). So you need to do your homework before deciding not to use an agent. Ever case is different so there is no template to say this is step 1,2,3,4. You will find a general step by by step templates on google

Do know where you will be settling yet?

Hi yes we have upload everything from the PCC, healt assement, form 80& the other one (think it starts with a "1"). I didn't see any button for -documents provide or similar wording-? Is that not just when a case worker ask for more documents? We based in South Africa currently really difficult to find other radiographers doing 189. Yes at the time of invitation I had already work 3 years and 5 months full time (more than 40 hours a week) with a full salary. Really hoping for a direct grant. Thx for website will look into it.

@DukeNinjaApplied end of May so we are standing at week 7. Haven't had any contact from the case worker. Looks like the processing of Visas has come to a stand still. If I may ask in which state are you working at and was it easy to secure a job.

@DukeNinja thank you for getting back to me so soon. Yes i have already received my invite and already applied for the Visa , still waiting to find out if it will be granted to us. I have applied for 3 years experience (I have claimed points from the first day I graduated up until now- playslips, reference letter to proof ect) I just wondered as some of the other assessing authorities (such as engineering) do deduct a predetermined amount of years from the applicants years of experience as a rule - but they do state this on their letter. However, for radiography on the AIR statement, they didn't state anything and I assumed I will be able to claim for all 3 years.
