Thank you all! Just to go on the safe side I've postponed attending the ceremony as the officer said (when I called) that sometimes they don't give you the certificate in the ceremony. My next opportunity to attend the ceremony will maybe be in November.

Hi all!!! I'm very excited because I got the invitation for the ceremony in September (City of Sydney Council). The issue? Well... I'm going overseas for 2 weeks in October as my sister is visiting after 3 years. I informed immigration as soon as I bought the tickets, about 2 months ago. The trip is about 10 days after the ceremony. My question? Would there be an issue if I don't get the passport on time or should I just reject the invitation and wait for the next invitation to a ceremony? I called immigration and they couldn't give me a straight answer. Have a great weekend!

Hi all, I uploaded today the documents they requested a week and a half ago and the status changed from "information requested" to "assessment in progress". Does this means that they are already doing it or is it just the standard status change when you upload documents? I'm not with a MA. Cheers!

Hi all, I've been following this forum for a couple of weeks. I've have applied for my PR under the nomination scheme. The nomination was finalised today but they are requesting some additional info. Evidence of registration/licensing The Australian and New Zealand Standard Classification of Occupations (ANZSCO) states that registration or a licence is/may be required for your nominated occupation. Provide evidence from the relevant Australian registration or licensing authority that you hold the relevant registration or licence or that you will be able to meet necessary registration or licensing requirements. The information relating to registration or licensing required must specify: ● the type of registration or licence held ● the name and contact details for the registering or licensing body. Alternatively, provide evidence that you do not need to hold registration or a licence to work in the nominated occupation. Occupation: Engineering Professionals nec Can you advise on this?
