So I'm looking to move to aus with my boyfriend who I have been with for over a year he is an Australian citizen with a large family what would be the best way to move over we were thinking getting the working holiday visa then apply for the temporary partnership visa once we got there and we've read that means you get covered under the 202 bridging visa if I'm not wrong until the decision is made on the long process of the partnership visa. Hello! Just needing some help and advice about the partner/de facto visa. Me and my Australian boyfriend have been dating since November 2016, he plans on going back home May 2018, so we will have been dating 18 months, we have discussed about me going over with him and that I should apply for the partner/de facto visa. I know it's a while till may 2018 but Iv read up on process times of the application and they seem long.
