Thanks @Ozzie the playgroups you suggested are exactly what I was looking for! Yes, I was put in contact with a group from the hospital but this only starts when buub is 3 months old. I was being impatient! @NickyNook I think also I just wanted to post on here in the off chance there were some other mums that were close by that wanted to meet! I've made acouple of good friends on here so I thought it was worth a try

Unfortunately not. I had my mum and sister stay with us for 3 weeks when my baby was a couple of weeks old then my husbands family have just left. They are all still living in the UK.

Hi- @The Pom Queen Thanks for the reply! Thats a shame that you are so far away. Hopefully there will be some NSW new mums on here! It seems like you've made some good friends here The little one is having a biiiiig sleep though the night atm so I am enjoying that for sure. I'm counting my blessings each night she sleeps through! Its my first one yes so each day is a new adventure. I was the last for my parents and I think my mum still thinks of me as the baby too even though I am 32 now

Hi everyone- I'm a new mum living in Harrington Park. I have a baby girl of 9 weeks in my life which is amazing but I don't know anyone in the area! Im originally from the UK, moved over to NSW 4 years ago but new to the Macarthur area. My husband works so I feel like I'm a bit isolated since i've been on mat leave. Looking to meet some other mums to catch up with and just go for a coffee or a walk
