  1. Also if I am applying offshore, I will not be able to be employed by the new company. Should I do this so that it can be a reason why I am not working for the new company?
  2. Hi, I have 187 nomination approved which indicates the company is willing to provide me a on-going employment. But the ownership of company has recently changed. The new company struggled to apply for 457 approved sponsor because they are a US company which does not have much operation history in Australia. Due to this reason, they have to terminate my employment because they are unable to employ me as my 457 tied to my old company. I am thinking to continue applying 187 visa since my nomination has been approved. If the immigration has questions about my employment, I will tell them my side of the story to see if there is a chance of getting the 187 approval. Do you think the immigration will notice my current employment status at the time of processing my 187 application and do you think if there is a chance for the immigration to accept my reason as I am making my best effort to gain a visa so the new company can continue to employ me? Thank you for your attention. Regards, Arno
  3. I would like to know if there is any chance for Immigration to accept my skill assessment. I originally apply for 885 but was refused in 2014 due to my IELTS result (not able to meet all 7). From that application, I obtained a skill assessment as Biochemist from Vetassess. Between 2014 and 2017, I held visa 457 but unable to apply for 187 as the company is not offering me a job in 2017. Now I am thinking to apply for visa 189 under Medical Laboratory Scientist. However I do not have a skill assessment from AIMS for this occupation. I have 4 years work experience as Medical Scientist in Australia. And I am applying for Medical Scientist Membership from AIMS (not for migration purposes). My question is if there is any chance the Immigration would invite me to apply for visa 189 (via EOI) accepting I have: -positive skill assessment as Biochemist -Membership from AIMS -4 years work experience as Medical Scientist in Australia And is there any chance of obtaining approval of visa 189? P.S. I have studied high school and University in Australia and I have been living in Perth for 15 years. And I pass IETLS 7s now. Thank you for your attention.
