Hi Charingx1, Yes, SA`s high points programme for the Supplementary Skill List positions works. My husband got SA sponsorship under that programme in September 2016 (he accrued 85 points in total w/ the state`s 5 points) and we applied for Visa early in November last year, frontloaded all docs required, including character checks, medicals, etc. However, since then it`s total radio silence. Our 190 visa application has got the status Received in the immiaccount. And that is. No progress since then. No contact by case officer, no info on case officer allocation.... Have you applied for SA`s sponsorship?
