Hi guys. We got our Pr yesterday
we applied on 8/8/2016

accountant
Nomination approval: 20/8/2017
visa approval: 22/8/2017
no document required
and for your info, my application is listed as "received" all the way. Then one morning I received email from my MA about nomination approval then yesterday she called back again about our pr application. And to double our luck, my wife gave birth to our daughter just few hour after we got our permanent. Feeling so blessed
To all outstanding august application, your August is being reviewed guys so stay positive

My nomination has been refused last week because of financial situation of the company,
in a word, they don't think a small company with such little income has the right reason to
hire a person from oversea.
It's sad to get a result like this after more than a year's waiting, but it comes eventually.
sorry to hear this, perhaps you should have a look at visa 189 ASAP, use your australian work experience to earn more point. and try to get IELTS 6 as minimum.
I am really sorry! how little was the income? do you know? and what about your 457 - I mean the DIBP has granted that the first time. I thought if they grant the 457 should not be a problem for 186..I share the same question with you here. If they granted 457 then they should grant 186 unless there is significant change to company condition? Such as change of ownership or continually loss in recent year? Or if it’s a new company (under 5 years old)?
As an accountant, I normally won’t look at the net profit of a small company but will look at the wages that the owner normally took out of business. It will be indicator of how well the business is doing. I wonder how CO would approach a financial statements??

hi Guy.
I have been reading around this forum but I haven't found a right answer for myself and my family. basically I want to sponsor my parents (offshore) and I can see there are 2 types/ stages of parental visa:
Contributory Parent (Temporary) visa -subclass 173
Contributory parent visa -subclass 143
so am i right to say we will need to sponsor parents for visa 173 before we can move onto visa 143? if so how long we have to hold 173 in order to apply for 143?
many thanks for you helps!

Hi Guys
was wondering if anyone has similar case/condition like us. we are trying to sponsor parents and our little brother to Australia using visa 143. by the look of things we satisfy all requirements of immigration. but there are slightly few things i just want to clarify:
my brother is currently in Australia undertook his year 10 (while applying for his student visa, I signed stat dec sponsoring him both financially and undertook his guardian, but the fact is my parents having been sending money to support him. while applying student visa, we only prove our financial capable that way since it's easier)
I have talk to an MA and she advised that my brother should come back to Vietnam since this is an offshore visa: all applicant should reside outside australia while this visa is lodged and while decision is made. and this will greatly affect his study a lot.
was wondering if anyone has same case?
