  1. Looking at the reviews, you are not alone, its terribly sad how they appear to be treating people. I would contact the following as they appear to be ATAS affiliated. Best wishes. https://www.atas.com.au/provide-feedback/complaints Call us 02 9287 9900

  4. A gorgeous soft day here in Evandale, shorts t shirt and a glass of wine watching the world go by!
  5. For someone who is so obviously Australophobia, I would have thought that it was healthier to let go, embrace Stratford above Heaven and rid oneself of the obvious "hatred" of the country that he/she lived in many moons ago!
  6. Reverse the whole series of questions and I am sure the answers would be entertaining! But its been good for a laugh if it wasnt so sad!
  7. Thank you for your response, I am slightly confused when it said "international jurisdictions " as surely if you were applying from IJ, then you wouldnt possibly have PR. It might be worthwhile for the OP to enquire.
  8. http://www.policerecruit.qld.gov.au/alternativeEntry/ "Applications are invited from current and recently serving police officers from other Australian and international jurisdictions" It might be worthwhile contacting the above. I do notice that there are some forthcoming seminars https://www.eventbrite.com.au/o/queensland-police-recruiting-8421222788 this month, you could possibly consider booking another flight to Oz !. Who knows where this might lead!
  9. A rational reply
  10. Pauline Hanson is entitled to her opinions and thats all they are "opinions"!
  11. My opinion for what it is worth is that there is discrimination in all societies whether you are in your own country or here in Australia. We must not forget that Australia is a global mixture of all colours and creeds and "usually" people tend to fit in very well. If you show you intricate into your chosen community I foresee no problem whatsoever, but if you choose to only mix with Asians and the Asian communities then I could envisage a dichotomy of cultural problems. This also applies to other nationalities as well IMHO. My motto is whilst embracing my own culture and its merits I embrace Australia and the opportunities it has afforded my family and I and my loyalty lies with the latter! Had I moved to China, I would obviously have the same concerns as they would exist if the boot was on the other foot!
  12. Good info there, and if people can find a job not a bad place to start life here in Australia. Launceston to Sydney is 1.hr 35 mins and Hobart is 1.55 mins. I love flying over Sydney, such an awesome city.
  13. @starlight/a very silly remark to be treated as either ignorance or total stupidity on your part! For your information "inbreeding" happened in many countries around the world, which includes Victoria sadly but stooping so low is not becoming!
  14. Richmond, Surrey, to Tasmania
  15. My husband FIFO's and quickly reached Platinum One status for Qantas and Platinum for Virgin. As you say your points add up. I pay for everything rates, electricity , shopping by card (paying the card off every month /no interest) and they certainly accumulate. Perks, free upgrades, access into some stunning airport lounges, complimentary food and drink, it just makes travelling a bit more special.
