Thanks for your reply yeh sorry i meant anmac i already have my skill assesment done and did not need to do the ILETS for that and this is why i was asking because i seen a bit about partner points didnt know what was best for gaining points for the visa application

My husband is a welder to trade but works as a fitter/ fabricator i want to start a skill assessment for him just for the extra points on my visa do we still need to do all this if he is not the main person on the visa?

Hi everyone i need some help and advice me and my husband are about to start applying for skilled permanent residence (subclass 189). I am nurse and he is a boilermaker the visa will be under my profession and i already have my AHPRA assessment complete what i need to know is do i have to sit my ILETS if my husband is on the skilled list as he gives me more points im sure we have 70 all in togeather. My second question is where do i start and what do i have to do to get his profession skill assessed by the trade recognition australia?? I have emailed them but was just wondering if anyone might know on here or been through the same thanks. Mr and mrs galloway
