We are heading to Queensland, either Brisbane or Gold Coast. Hoping to be making the move in August. So much to do before then though, it's all quite daunting. X
We sent off our letters of employment at the same time as you only have to wait and pay once then.
Brilliant news that you have a positive skills assessment though.
We are just waiting to hear if our visa application has been successful.
Fingers crossed it's good news. My husband received his letter a few days after the email to say it had been posted. Hopefully you won't have to wait long. We are just waiting for the visa grant now as uploaded all additional documents last week. X
We applied a couple of weeks ago and haven't heard anything either. As the processing time is 2 weeks I'm expecting to hear next week. Fingers crossed. X
We have been allocated a case officer today who has requested Medicals and police checks. Should hopefully have the Medicals uploaded this week and the police check uploaded early next week. Just hoping for a speedy grant then!
That is a very speedy grant! Did it take long for you to be allocated a case officer? We are hoping our grant comes through quickly as I know our teacher registration will take around 3 months and we need that before we move.
Just wondering how difficult it has been to register with Queensland. Myself and my husband will need to this ahead of emigrating. My husband should be ok as he has already gone through certification with AITSL, I'm slightly worried about myself though.
Brilliant. Hopefully you will be able to submit your EOI before the new year! We had our Medicals yesterday and they seemed to go ok. Just waiting for them to be uploaded now. Returned the form 80 to the agent yesterday with the missing information completed so that's all finished. Just waiting for the police checks to arrive now.
The agent has spotted a mistake on my form 80 so it is being sent back to me to
edit. Have Medicals tomorrow so hoping to have everything uploaded by next Friday. Currently looking into using a relocation agent to make the transition easier for us all.
You must be so relieved your grant is finally through! We are hoping to emigrate to Brisbane/Gold Coast in august. My husband is a teacher so wants to be out there to apply for the January jobs and pick up some supply experience. We are so excited but aware we have a long way to go yet.
That's good. We didn't pay for the express service so just hoping it is here before Xmas.
Want to have everything uoloaded before we are allocated a case officer.
