Hi all, as you may have seen in the budget tonight, a new temporary visa will also now require employers to pay a levy for each foreign worker they employ. The issue that's unclear however from this guidance is whether this levy will only apply to workers sponsored by the organisation (thereby allowing an employer to employ somebody on a partner visa without paying this levy). Thanks all for your help unfortunately this seems to be a bit of a grey area - my GP reception is giving conflicting advice and the general medicare helpline wasn't too helpful!

Hi first time poster with a random question - I have my reciprocal healthcare medicare card and wondered whether this would allow me to claim the medicare rebate for psychologists under a GP mental health treatment plan. The guidelines on are very unclear stating that only necessary treatment is covered - any help would be really appreciated.
