  1. Hi guys, me and my gf are heading to Melbourne in late Feb 2017 to begin our WHV, we are undecided wether to buy/rent a campervan or stay in b&b's. I'm personally favouring the campervan as I imagine the b&b's will eat up too much of our funds. I've read a few posts about people choosing to rent one over buying because it's a lot less hassle if they break down or get into an accident. Bearing in mind I've no idea when it comes to mechanics! Can anyone advise which would be best for us. We are planning on getting to Melbourne, spending two weeks in the city, then moving further inland either renting a campervan or getting a bus to a motel and looking for farming/fruit picking work in the Victoria region. After a couple of months we'll be moving up the east coast working along the way then I'd like to be back in Sydney for NY Any advise or recommendations would be much appreciated guys Thanks Tom
  2. Hi guys, me and my girlfriend are travelling to Australia from England late Feb early march 2017 to begin our 1 year working holiday, we had agreed on flying into Melbourne and staying there for a week, maybe 2 just to find our feet and be "tourists" We are looking for mainly regional work, farm work, fruit/veg picking or anything of this sort of work, but upon reading a little deeper, Melbourne does not seem to offer much of this so was wondering if anyone had any tips of where to go a little further inland or even further south to find more this type of work. we are planning on working up the east coast throughout the year seeing how far we get! i was considering Adelaide but this seems a little too secluded but I'm open to anything at this stage. we plan on working up the east coast and seeing how far we get! any information would be much appreciated guys thanks Tom
