Hi everyone after 28 months wait in AAT we have just received an email from aat yesterday requesting for some financial documents. position - restaurant manager nomination and visa applied in August 2016 refusal in april 2018 aat applied in April 2018 and documents requested 21st August 2020

I have been waiting from 27 months too but no update at all my MARA emailed aat to ask for a new letter for Medicare & asked about the update too but they did not replied at all regarding the file process only sent us the letter for Medicare back. This is so frustrating now

@ankush it depends according to my MA business is really strong financially & everything is pretty genuine so she is hoping to win this case as everyone have different scenarios & reasons for nomination refusal..

@ankushmy employer’s business was doing really well every year but they still refused my nomination on the grounds of assumption saying that we think he can’t afford without asking any further documents to clarify such assumptions but I would suggest u if ur case is genuine ur employer is with u plz do appeal as we r doing for our nomination as well

@oscar business was doing really well every year they just said y u were not working full time like y 31 hours not 38 hours it shows may b he can’t afford u & won’t be able to afford u further for next 2 years..we both matched our letters it’s shows they were comparing salary packages & financial statements from the documents other person provided in 2015 to get sponsored it’s so silly to see those points

@Khan patan & @P.M as there are not certain requirements to work with employer before visa they objected why y u were not working with him full time as I was only working 31 hours a week? second one is so funny that business turnover is nearly 1.5 million & they said we think he can’t afford u to work there for next 2 years?

August 2016 restaurant manager just received a call this morning my nomination has been rejected so many silly reasons which u can’t actually relate to rsms visa so going to appeal now...gud luck to others ??

@187cook it was restaurant manager applied 11 August 2016& colleague was on cook position applied 14 September 2016.... silly same reasons for both applications

@sbrowne9 & @Alex Angilinwago I just got a call this morning from my MA that they have rejected my nomination as well yesterday & they gave such a silly reasons for that such as does not have financial capacity? As I was working with employer for 30 hours as there is no restrictions before visa so they objected y u were not working with him for full time hours as they think he is not capable to afford me for next 2 years so just going to appeal now & let’s see how it goes... gud luck for u all?

Hi guys I m so worried I have applied direct entry restaurant manager in August 2016 still no news but one of my colleague applied as a cook in September 2016 from there got nomination refused as his MA said it’s bcoz of financial documents & restaurant turnover is 1.5 million
