It takes about 7 weeks to process 1 day worth of 143 applications, "well done" IMMI. Kev

There was only one July 2015 Lodger has received an invitation to provide further documents from IMMI since June/2018. Kev

@Sharad Guru, from what I know, no July lodgers onward has received an invite from DIBP to prepare medical, policy cert and so on. Please send an email to your local senator, shadow immigration minister and immigration minister to complain about this situation. Kev

I totally agree with Alan, I believe if each 143 sponsor emails to his/her local federal MP to put pressure on the IMMI Department, it will help a lot to speed up 143 processing time. BTW, I did email to my local federal MP complains about 143 processing time. Kev.

It looks like there are a lot of 103 applicants currently switching to 143 due to AOS saga. Kev

I just sent a test email to PVC and received the auto reply below: "PROCESSING CONTRIBUTORY PARENT VISAS In the 2017-18 Migration Programme year, 7175 Contributory Parent visa places are available for applicants applying from in and outside Australia. Due to high numbers of Contributory Parent visa applications lodged since 2014, the processing time for new applications received is currently in excess of 48 months. · OFFSHORE APPLICANTS (subclass 143/173) When your application is allocated to an assessing officer, you or your authorised contact may be asked to provide more documents, including but not limited to, Assurance of Support (subclass 143 only), police certificates and health clearances to finalise your application. We are currently assessing applications lodged up to and including 5 May 2015." Kev

That makes sense now. it might stop asking 143 applicants to provide further documents until the English test is being introduced. Kev
