  1. For you to be able to make an appointment with bupa, you need hap number. And, from memory, I think you get that by creating a health assessment application in your immi account. I did the same thing, and now that I have hit the 12 months mark I am regretting it. I should've done it few months after I lodge the 820 application. But it is your personal choice if you want to do it before or after the lodgement of the application.
  2. Hey Scorpiogirlph, thanks, I hope we all get the grant soon!
  3. Hey Cherrygn, Thanks for your reply! There have been some visa grants on other forums! Hope there will be some more approvals to come and we are all part of it!
  4. No worries! From my experience, they won't cancel it! I've been waiting almost 12 months now...
  5. Hi Kezzles, I did my medical before submitting the application, but many people wait till they are asked for it. And when you have applied for 820, they don't cancel your 457 visa. At least that's what happened with me. So if you can find someone to sponsor you on 457 would be ideal.
  6. Congratulations on your Bridging visa B Cherrygn, at least you can travel now! Wonder why the waiting time has been increased to 18 months, that is really long time! I still haven't had any contact from immi... Hope you get your 820 approval soon!
  7. Oh no! That is frustrating! Which office did you apply? I have seen on other forums people with September applications getting grants, but they also have received a generic email asking for more info. That email usually means their application has been allocated to CO. Myself, I haven't received an email and I have provided all the info like medicals and police checks. And it's now getting close to 11months mark...this is such a long and exhausting process...
  8. Hey Cherrygn, I have been reading on other forums, some people rang immigration before they apply for bridging visa B and they were told that their application it's beeing processed and will have a decision soon. Maybe if you call and tell them that you need to travel on a specific date and you have a visa application in process, they might be able to tell you something more?
  9. Yours shouldn't be far off granting! Hope you will hear something very soon
  10. Hey Cherrygn, I am from Macedonia, which is a high risk country I think. I've seen people on other forums getting grants within 12 months from both high or low risk countries, but I have also seen others who have been waiting for really long time. I can't understand the way they are processing the applications. I just hope mine won't take ages to be processed, coz I am going crazy. :daydreaming:
  11. Hi Scorpiogirlph, I did get my acknowledgment email and receipt. But I haven't been contacted ever since. I hope we will be contacted soon and get the visa grant as soon as possible. Good luck to all of us waiting!
