  1. hey guys, Just had my medical last week. When the nurse asked my wife whether she was on any medication she told her yes i take some anxiety pills, however when she asked me for how long i told her 2010 whereas i have been taking these medicines since 2012. can i get this correction done? they have not submitted my medicals as of yet as they are waiting for a letter from my doctor. but i can only get a letter from 2012. will the nurses change what they wrote as we have not signed anything(other than a paper which was handed to me initially) Do the nurses/doctors not verify this information with us? Dont we have to sign something which states that the above is true. i.e(eye sight , use of medicines, history of illness etc)?
  2. hey guys im new to this forum. me and my wife just went through the medical tests. my question is regarding what impact will bipolar affective disorder have on our visa grant. My wife has Bipolar-disorder and has been on medication for the past 5 years. she is very stable and functions normally. will we be able to pass the medical screening? she has never been hospitalized and takes mild dosage of the named medication tegretol, serequel and cipralex. she is not a threat to herself or anyone else. however i wanted the forum members opinions and experience in this matter. anyone know the cost impact that DIBP or the MOC will be looking at and if this condition is likely to exceed the AUD40000 threshold within 5 years i am looking for some honest and prompt advise to help me.
