Silent reader here got my PR approved yesterday 186 TRT my company is a credited sponsor visa lodged: 02/04/2020 with health and police checks visa approved: 14/07/2020

I changed employer while on the 457, It did take approx 2 months for the approval to come through, this was back in 2017 though so may be different now

When I did the transfer, it took around 4 months or so which is a little long then first thought My advise, wait till it gets granted before giving any notice in

Well I've been browsing several forums and the immigration website and not been able to found an answer..... balBsically my current 457 started 25/10/16, however I manage to find a new employer who is an approved sponsor and I believe the application for change of sponsor was started 07/04/17. I have noticed my job is now on the STSOL list but from my understanding this won't affect current 457 visa holders as I'm not applying for a new 457, this shouldn't affect me right? Or will it? Also, if this does gets rejected or if I wish to withdraw this, would this affect my current sponsorship and it will just stay the same? thank you

I'm still eagerly waiting for mine.... Visa application lodged 13 Aug 2016 Documents requested 10 Sep 2016 - Uploaded on 22 Sep 2016 Company is already an approved sponsorship and nomination was already approved.

Hey all! Ill soon be starting a chapter in my life in Melbourne. My Visa application is already in progress via a 457. Luckily the employer is already an approved sponsor so I guess its just the waiting game. Been reading these forums for a few weeks now and been very helpful.
