  1. Got my golden email last night!!!! I'm over the moon! I've updated my signature and the spreadsheet with my timeline. I didn't get asked for any further info for my nomination or application. I lodged my application with police checks and did my medicals a week after I applied. Didn't receive the 4th April email. My lawyer was Abacus Visa Immigration lawyers and they were fantastic, I can't recommend them enough. Good luck to everyone waiting, and thanks for all the contributions on this forum - people helping people is the best!
  2. Hi all, just checked the Home Affairs website and the processing times seem to have been updated - https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/getting-a-visa/visa-processing-times/global-visa-processing-times 1st column is for 75% of cases and 2nd column is for 90% of cases. It says that this was updated on 26th April, however, I'm 100% certain that it was showing the TRT stream as 75% completed in 12 months last week, not 11.
  3. Congratulations!! That's amazingly fast! Please can you update your signature so everyone can see your timeline - it's super helpful for others who are looking on here My Nomination was also approved on May 15th but no word yet on the Application. I've already loaded Police Checks and Medicals so hopefully should be decision ready.
  4. Congratulations!! For the spreadsheet, could you confirm if you 're from a High Risk or Low Risk country and how many visa applicants? Thanks!
  5. Congrats @Claire85!! Can I ask if you were asked for further information before your application was approved?
  6. That's brilliant! Congratulations! I also just got my 'silver email' - my nomination was approved today. Fingers crossed the application approval follows swiftly!
  7. Unfortunately, you can't import your Nomination into your Immi account to check, so you'll have to wait for the MA to tell you, sorry! It's a bit strange (but not unheard of) that the application is being looked at before the Nomination but hopefully it's a sign that your case is being looked at either way! Best of luck!
  8. Congratulations!! Has your Nomination been approved? If so, what date? Medicals are part of the Application, which tends to be processed after the Nomination is approved.
  9. @Kashif.Iqbal @Hex Hi guys, These are the new priorities for visa nomination applications and applications, that came into effect on 27th March. The short version of this is as follows: Order for considering nominations The following processing priorities (with highest priority listed first) are: a) nominations lodged on or after 18 March 2018; b) nominations lodged before 18 March 2018. Order for considering visa applications The following processing priorities (with highest priority listed first) are: a) applications lodged on or after 18 March 2018; b) applications lodged before 18 March 2018. Within these priorities, precedence is given to nominations/applications that fall under the following: - Labour Agreement in a Designated Area Migration Agreement (NT or Greater Southern Coast) - Global Talent Scheme Agreement - Positions in Regional Australia - Sponsors with Accredited Status - Labour Agreement - Everybody else!

Employer lodged SBS application - 15th March Nomination lodged - 15th April Queries re SBS application - 23rd April SBS Queries answered by employer - 26th April Queries re Nomination (Information & Organisation Professionals is classed as high risk) - 30th April Nomination Queries answered by employer - 6th May UPDATE: SBS application approved today!!! Just the Nomination approval to go now
  11. Hi guys, I'm already on a 457 visa (granted in August 2014) but my employer hasn't been pleasant to work for (for various reasons that I won't go into here) so I started looking for a new job earlier in the year. I was lucky enough to be offered a great new job at the start of March and promptly accepted. This is my timeline so far: Employer lodged SBS application - 15th March Nomination lodged - 15th April Queries re SBS application - 23rd April SBS Queries answered by employer - 26th April Queries re Nomination (Information & Organisation Professionals is classed as high risk) - 30th April Nomination Queries answered by employer - 6th May Still waiting on approval..... I should also clarify that I'm from the UK (low risk) and the application is being processed in Melbourne. The employer tried a priority request as they have a big contract deadline for 30th June but it was rejected as Immigration said they have "too many" priority requests at the moment. I was told by an MA that Changes of Sponsor are thrown in the pool with 457 applications so I guess the timelines should be similar. How long are Immigration taking to reach a decision after the queries have been answered? Has anyone else got experience with changing sponsor recently? My original visa got approved in 9 days, I can't believe how slow they are at the moment! Any timelines of recent approvals would be really helpful!!!
