Sorry to step in but I know how you feel I have just come over with my daughter and her family yes I have my husband but we both feel the same we had a really good social life back in Brum and now we have got to start all over again and we had really good friends ones that I would call true but i suppose you have to start all over again

Hi Jack we have just moved here sippy downs area and was trying to find if there was any brummies or any poms that meet up in the day as both me and my husband have come over with my daughter and her family she is going to university and we wanted to meet new friends as we have left family and friends back home and finding it hard

Hi Avril - Welcome to the Sunshine Coast! Sippy Downs (or slippery downs as some people call it), is a lovely part, local to everywhere and sensibly priced so good pick.
I scrolled through your previous posts and see you and your husband are retired, finding friends as adults is particularly hard. I'm 27 and find it very difficult to find friends. Join as many clubs as you can, be it surf life saving, bowls, AFL, NRL. I wouldn't go shouting too loudly about being a blues supporter in QLD haha. The sunshine coast is a welcoming place and there will always be someone to talk to!

We have just arrived here from Birmingham with our daughter and her family both me and my husband have retired and would love to make some new friends while my daughter is at university my husband is a strong blues supporter so if there are any blue noses out there that he can have chat to would be great we would just like to meet couples up perhaps for a coffee or anything during the day to past the time away

How do you find out if they contract the work out only we are trying to find a good migration agent that won't rip us off we have had 2 bads ones and it makes you feel you can not trust any of them out there we have lost a lot of money and it is very upsetting
