  1. 2. HI KKumar, you will receive a letter from the Member of Parliament confirming that you have passed the test and are eligible to be a citizen. Depending on your council's current backlog, you will receive an invite in a few months to participate in the oath ceremony. They usually give a heads up a month in advance. carry your passport as form of identification to the ceremony. Rgds DAUS
  3. You could log into online. Immi. Gov.au and import your application with the app number on your acknowledgement receipt. Then click on communications tab.
  4. Date applied - 24 Oct 2017 City/Council area - Perth Online / Paper - Online Date received the acknowledgement email - 24 OCT 2017 Date of the Citizenship Test - 18 June 2018 ; passed! * Citizenship approval letter - 28 June 2018 Date of ceremony - TBA Type of ceremony - TBA * Please read this note very carefully They will ask you for all the paperwork to prove your identity. You MUST carry all the documents' originals with you and not leave a single one at home. Indians in particular MUST carry their original and NAATI translated birth certificate. I understand that a number of North Indians do NOT have their name on the birth certificate issued by the hospital. Its translated version is required to establish relationship to parents and date of birth. Kindly do not take this lightly. i have personally seen a number of Immigration officers get upset because these documents were not with the applicants. Also, please do not assume that the birth certificate proof submitted with PR is good enough. Sometimes Indians get their birth certificate as an abridgement of passport. Immigration officers do not consider this as a birth certificate. Documents that are acceptable are as follows: a) Aadhar card. b) Ration card c) Voter Card d) Original Birth certificate with NAATI translation e) Original Indian Drivers' license with NAATI translation. Having stated the above, i am guilty of what i have documented. The officer was helpful and gave me 14 days to submit additional documents. In hindsight, i would've rather carried originals with me. Please learn from my mistakes. Good Luck.

  10. Hi Folks, Received the PR a few minutes ago. Interestingly it was filed at NSW and was being managed by NSW PESE but the PR was issued by WA PESE. Overall wait period was 219 days. No documents requested. Proactively submitted the entire set including Form 80 and validated all documents despite of MA's confirmations. Good luck to all those who are waiting. (PS: i have updated my details in the sheet.) Regards, Dave

  13. Hi Roxy, I joined the forum today and updated details in the sheet. (Uname: daus, March 2016). However, the same doesnt seem to be getting consolidated in the first sheet which has month wise tabulated data. Just saying mate. Thanks for the good work though. Rgds d
  14. Filed on March 13, 2016. No update. Status reflects "Application Received" Submitted all documents in one go. The MA has no idea. Does anyone know of a logic to this delay ? Do the elections / financial year round up affect visa issuance timelines ? All guidance is appreciated.
