Looks like the Queens jacking it in.

Yeah - the timing with Princess then Lady Di's tragic demise is food for thought. Apparently there is a constitutional matter about 'Queen Camilla' - they had a civil betrothal (the irony, unrelated to this thread) and the spouse of the inheritor of the throne has to be recognised by the church. So may skip a generation anyway, for constitutional reasons, if not resolved. Sent from my iPhone using PomsinOz

People can buy before they sell here - it may not be advisable, but they can, and do. Not so straightforward in the UK Sent from my iPhone using PomsinOz

    Would you cancel?

A Korean mate and Ozzy spouse are still going. Albeit the spouse insists on travel insurance just in case whilst the Korean says - 'she'll be alright' - don't bother. Interesting approach. I'm akin to go with the view of the locals every time. Still no accounting for the current incumbent in the White House and what his reaction might be.... Sent from my iPhone using PomsinOz

That's the constitution of the country. No if and or buts. It's not X Factor. She's had a good innings as a monarch, how many of us want to work into our 90s? (Before anyone complains, her work admittedly is quite specialist, and constrained by decorum and duty, to the detriment of family life, and arguably mental health - so if complainants feel they can do a better job, given the JD, by all means have at it....) Canzac will it happen ?

Anything is possible, but I can't see Oz, changing its strict border control and visa/immigration policies, because of Brexit. They are likely to still be relevant and around for a long while. Sent using Poms in Oz mobile app

    Is this woman raving mad!!!!??

The fact that I haven't watched the video, hopefully should answer your question. It would not even have come to my attention had it not been posted on this forum as a topic worthy of comment and denigrating the said woman. So if it's no big deal, I'd suggest removing the topic and all related posts. Sent from my iPhone using PomsinOz

    Is this woman raving mad!!!!??

I didn't bother watching, but I do respect her right to not be 'handled' or treated the way she would like to be, rather than have some obstinate fool, try make a point. Some of it probably got lost in translation as well, but if someone says please desist - then presumably this man knows enough English to do so. Sent from my iPhone using PomsinOz

    Is this woman raving mad!!!!??

Anyone who goes bonkers with road rage, regardless of their sex should be wilfully ignored. It's like being on the London Underground, just blindside and leave alone. Some of the crackpots on the road here don't deserve to have their attention seeking behaviour acknowledged. I was driving one day and these two women were having their own rally/drag race on an A road. One just kept giving chase to the other, clearly riled up and wanting to start a fight. The other was trying to get out of the way. The erratic driving of the former, was endangering everyone - ducking, weaving, speeding cutting people off. Shame there were no police around.... 16. In my experience, nothing is ever a seperate issue. Cause and effect, symbiosis and all that. I have no more to add to this specific conversation. Building up a strong defence on the backs of broken or maimed youth, is not something that attracts me. Sent using Poms in Oz mobile app

    Is this woman raving mad!!!!??

I agree, in most cases what anyone calls me isn't an issue, unless they mean it to be in some way intentionally insulting or demeaning (and this applies to the other half as well!). Sticks and stones and all that....

    Is this woman raving mad!!!!??

I agree, it was right for his boss to take him to task. If he wants to be that way in pvt and his family and mates are ok with it, that's up to them. But in public and on the job, is just stupid. Sent using Poms in Oz mobile app

    Is this woman raving mad!!!!??

stupid bint probs menstrual or menopausal but no need to be such a **** That's a bit harsh in terms of your summation. Maybe the b*sta*d had a woody and felt the best way to get his rocks of was to abuse his position of authority. Th stupid c**t, didn't anyone tell him to leave it at home and abuse the wife instead? My point exactly. No need to be inflammatory and distasteful is there, IMHO. Some people don't mind being called luv, sweetheart etc, but if they ask someone to stop because they don't like it, in a work setting, just leave it out. This applies to men not just women. What people get up to in their private sphere is up to them (assuming it's not criminal or illegal), but there are boundaries on the job - that's just life. As for being touched in an airport, unless they are doing a body search / pat down there is no reason to touch anyone, male or female. Sent using Poms in Oz mobile app
  20. I'm sure there is some justification as you point out, but it's not the whole story is it? Knowing personnel in the army, serving and retired, including majors who campaign for better conditions and PTSD support from within and without, I'd be willing to believe them over a publication from or for the military establishment. I'm sure there are those in the army who'd disagree, but campaigns and charities for PTSD, war veterans, invictus etc don't come out of thin air.... Sent using Poms in Oz mobile app

    north korea

Well, given that China, Japan and South Korea are just on the doorstep, and Oz in close proximity to any fallout - any strike could ignite the touch paper to WW3. We know Kim Jong Un is a nut job, but time will tell if Trump is equally demented (assuming we are still around to comment on it!) Sent using Poms in Oz mobile app
