Hi everyone I had initially hoped to begin my visa progress in february this year, i had been advised my best option was a 457 visa due to my age. However this has been on hold due to my adult daughter in her early twenties who lives with me and is dependant on me being diagnosised with cancer. She has completed all treatment and is now cancer free. I spoke back to my migration agent who informed me that she would now fail a medical and if on my application this would not be granted , . My question is, is there any way around this eg having private insurance for her? Or is it a straight no. Any advise would be great, has anybody else been in this situation, Thank you

Hi everyone, Can I ask are there any OT's who have made the move to OZ. How did you find the process? How did you find getting a role are they similar to UK posts in practice? I am in my late forties and hoping to emigrate to OZ. I have been advised I may only be able to get at 457 employer sponsored visa, not my first choice. Any advice would be appreciated Thank-you
