Hello everyone I might be rellocating to Melbs this year. I am currently IT contracting in London under my LTD company. I am on long term contract due to this global project that may take several years to complete. Looks like I will be rellocating to Melbs and working for same client in Melbourne office for 1-2 years. Could you recommend a good tax accountant / tax advisor? I am looking for a most tax efficient way of contracting in Australia, is there anything like LTD option in Oz? Many thanks all

Hello I am new to Australian property. I can see that houses prices in better areas are sky high, but prices of Units, Townhauses more reasonable. I know you normally pay Body corp fees ( sinking fund, insurance,etc) for apartments, do you pay this for Units and Townhauses? How much per year roughly are these costs? Many thanks all Marko

Many thanks for your response. Does it mean only emergancy treatments ( Hospital) are covered? standard GP visits etc are not covered and have to be funded by Insurance?

hello we planing a move to Melbourne in September this year. My wife will be applying from Australia for 461 Visa (She is a British citizen). Is she able to enter Australia on one way ticket? Does she need to tell imigration officer at the airport that she is planning to apply for this visa and stay? I guess when applied for 461, she will automaticlly receive Bridging visa? Does she need to leave the country and reneter once visas granted? many thanks all regards Marko

Hello We will be moving to Melbourne with 4 year old ( he will be nearly 5 in September 2016 when we plan to move) and 6 monhts baby. We will be looking for Family friendly suburbs in Melbourne with good schools. Iniitally we would like to rent for 6 months to get to know the area and then probably buy. Our budget would be 600-700k. Would you recommend a good suburb, with good schools (primary, secondary) and ideally on the train for city CBD daily commute? Many thanks everyone. Hello My wife is a British citizen, we are planning a move to Melbourne. She will be on 461 Visa. Does she need to have private health insurance cover in Australia or there is a retrospective deal with NHS? Would she have same access to health services as New Zealander or Australian citizen?
