Hi I am looking for some advice. My mom has recently moved over here to Oz from the UK and on the 804 bridging visa (for 30 years approx). She wants to purchase a property (no mortgage required) here in the Gold Coast to live in; she's currently in Sydney renting. Questions are - Can she purchase a property in her name being on this visa? - How do we go about looking for property there when we live in Sydney? We can fly there for weekends to view but it would have to be worth our while - is there a company that can look for us and arrange viewings for when we get there all in the one weekend? Any help or advice would be great Thanks

Hi I'm hoping that someone will be able to give me some advice; me and my sister both live here in Sydney I have PR and my sister is going through hers now and we want our mom to come out and live here with us. She is alone in uk with no other children/husband or family. Do you know what the easiest/quickest way of us doing this and if its possible? She is 65 and retired by the way. Any advise would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I received my approved PR through yesterday! I chased it up via email on the 25th January and received the approved email back yesterday - so happy!

I have tried to call a few times but it just says they are too busy and call back another time.....does anyone have a contact number to call them on in NSW?

I submitted my application in full on 15th July 2015 - I haven't heard ANYTHING at all I have logged into my immi account and the status hasn't changed at all from application received.....its been over 6 months now is this normal?? 186, 187 Visa from 457 Visa
