Thanks for your reply Bungo, and all the advice. Spending the afternoon going through all the emails from the migration agent in oz, i managed to find a guide to apply for the medical and, therefore, the hap ID i presume. So i guess its been partly my fault in the delay. I've lodged this so fingers crossed that comes back quickly and i can book up the medical and get this visa underway. Theres so much information it is overwhelming to do on your own so i may look into uk based agents to help with this application. Like you said, its a case of being literal and safe with your answers. It meant listing all 13 countries while travelling and the arrival/departure dates just for this medical :wacko:

Hi guys, in the process of lodging a 457 sponsored visa. The migration agent the employer uses has lodged the nomination and sent me instructions to complete the application using the immi account. I've already hit some queries early on and the agent is taking a while to reply to emails. Do people recommend using a UK based migration agent to assist with the lodgement or should it be pretty straight forward?? My questions are below if anyone here can help also. thanks There is a section asking about visa numbers in current or previous passports. I have had a working holiday visa in a previous passport. Is that included? I have also had 2 electronically linked holiday visas for Australia to my passport and my partner, 1. Are these going to have to be mentioned at any point? In regards to the medical, it is asking if I have had one and to include the hap id. I believe I require a medical, but was informed I needed a hap id to have this from an Australian government suggested medical centre in London. Many thanks for your help

Hi, I may be lucky enough to be offered work and a visa on the gold coast. I have visited the area only once in my early 20's, so am looking for advice on the best areas to live. It will be myself (30) and my fiancé (25). We have no children and are into the gym and beach life, nice meals out and cinema. We are moving over from west london and would be renting for the meantime. Have done some research and looks like broadbeach may be an option? Southport seems to have lots of propertys for rent though. Any thoughts or advice would be much appreciated. Thank you
