If a PR since 2015, but have been out of the country several times for 6 months plus, but in Oz now since 31st Dec2019, can I apply for citizenship? Do I have to wait until I’ve done 4 years with only 1 year away?

Thank you for your reply. I wish to get citizenship now because I can justify my time here even though we went back in June 2019 as my father was very I’ll and passed away and my husband had to see his oncologist. So I feel I can do the 4 year stint quite easily at this time. I do need to go back to UK perhaps in July for 2/3 months to sort various things out.

I became a pr in 2015, but have been back to Uk several times. My husband and I came over 30/12/19 and couldn’t get back to Uk. Unfortunately my husband passed away 7/03/22 and I am still in Oz. Can you suggest somebody that can lead me through the citizenship timeframe etc. Rita
