Hey guys congratulations to everyone who got their grants and wishing u all the best of luck down under. As for me, its pretty bad, I applied on 9-9-2015 and got asked to fill out form 80 and provide further evidence of overseas study on 11-10-2015. And i did both but still no reply. I started to freak out cz just last week i sent my CO an email asking her to update me about the status of my application and still didnt get a reply there either. Is this normal?? Is there anything I should do more on my end? Any advice would be helpful. Thnx guys

Hey guys, got an update. My CO was assigned and asked for form 80 and evidence of overseas education (again). I sent her an email and told her that i had already uploaded my bachelor's degree cert. And a couple of trade certificates. And it said on form 80 to provide details of the proposed date of arrival in Australia , i told her that i left it blank since it depends on how soon i get my visa, hope I did the right thing here

Hi stablemav, Did a CO review ur case yet or were u contacted in any sort? I have applied on the 9th of Sep. And on the 14th uploaded all my docs including pcc and medical but not form 80. Still didn't hear anything

Hey guys, first of all congratulations to all who got their grants. I applied on the 9/9 and still waiting very impatiently ofcourse. Did anyone get rejected or knows someone who has?? Cz I think the worst that could happen is that your CO tells you to upload some more documents or modify the ones you uploaded, am I right??

Hey guys, thanks for starting this thread, I'm guessing noone heard anything yet. Well, same here, I lodged my application on the 9th of September and my last document update was on the 17th of Sep. (PCC and medical) gonna start on form 80 now and front load it just in case. Good luck to u all.

Hey all, I applied on the 9th of september, uploaded all docs on the same day except for my birth cert, PCC, and health. Still didn't hear anything yet from anyone (no surprise there) but I'm considering filling and uploading form 80 (along with PCC, medical and my birth cert.) just in case even though I wasn't asked to. Is that a good idea??

Sorry to hear that, I hope you don't extend your waiting time any longer. But I'll be notified when a case officer starts on my case though right? And also, there are a couple of documents that the website is asking for such as Australian relevant education and work experience that I don't have so I left them empty, is that ok?

hey guys, is it better (time wise) if the CO got assigned your case and found all your documents uploaded? Or does it make no difference if he asks you to upload some essential documents at a later stage?

Hey all, I just submitted an application for a 189 visa (that is after I got my EOI invitation of course and did all the paper work). I applied through skill select and the website kept asking me a lot of stuff that I had already answered before in my EOI but it didn't ask for any documentation or medical examination or anything from the document checklist I've been looking at; I thought maybe they will but at a later time or in the next step perhaps, if anyone who has been through this before reply with any useful info I would highly appreciate it. And also, what about the time frame? how long might I be looking at here?? Thanks in advance.
