Hi We are a small family of 4 looking to meet Any brits or Aussies or any English speaking folks around yeppoon/rocky area. only moved here just over a week ago but found our 14 year old daughter and 12 year old son cannot start school till end of January and would be great if they could meet kids of a similar age to mix with and become friends maybe adults could meet up for a coffee and a chat as well as we are all keen to meet new people in our new life down under please feel free to pm me thanks for reading

hi Bellwood got furniture being collected on Wednesday and tenants moving in our house on Saturday so I suppose you could say we are getting desperate for news. Mine and my sons Bday on Tuesday so hoping for a nice little email to open :wink:

Subdivided loving your description of the waiting process very nice way of putting it in writing,I think that door must be jammed and they are waiting for a tradesman to come and repair it only they are on holiday leaving us poor souls stuck in the room for the foreseeable future

Hi all we are now on 6 weeks also with still no positive news keep getting told different things from employer but I do believe it's just wishful thinking on her behalf. only 2 days left this week then it's another weekend of frustration

Was advised not to travel on a tourist visa

Hi all currently on hold phoning aus immi in London to see if we can travel to aus on a tourist visa while awaiting 457 grant. MA said it was ok but just need to double check with immi before I book flights Thinking behind it is would give my OH time to settle in before starting work and also help kids settle in have a better look at schools,houses etc so when grant does arrive we are more prepared and will have got over that dreadful jet lag
