  1. Thanks for your reply! What you said makes sense. If my kid going to waste/late one year, then i am considering to move to NSW. But again, if my daughter is studying prep and when we move to NSW, will NSW allow her to grade 1 or not, need to check. But I have to think about your valid point "extra year's maturity will stand them in good stead". Have to think !!!!!!!!!!!!
  2. Hi All, I am confused about school year starting age in Victoria and NSW. I noticed that NSW school age cut off is 31st July, whereas in Victoria it is 30th April. My daughter born in May, so she is going prep now(Living in victoria). But if I live in NSW, my daughter would be in Grade 1. So if we consider this difference, is she going to complete her schooling one year late compare to NSW children? Please enlighten me Thanks!! Sri
  3. Thanks a lot for the information.
  4. My elder daughter came with me in 2012 as 457 dependent. My younger daughter born in India 2013, later included her in 457 dependent. In feb 2016 we got PR.
  5. Hi All, Recently I got a PR(have been in aus from 2012). I am planning to take a citizenship after one year for me and my children aged 6 years and 3 years. Is the below rule applicable to my children as well: 1. 4 years in Australia, no more than one year absence. 2. absences from Australia of no more than 12 months, including no more than three months in the 12 months before applying. Thanks!! Sri
  6. I was started working for Singapore company from 2010, but I lived in India and was working for them for almost one year. To prove that I provided arrival/departue stampings in passport and employer letter stating my stay in Singapore(Still working for same company, but Australia branch)
