  2. This is great thanks very much!! I will take a good look at all of this, Crows Nest does sound about right for me and maybe a bit more of a buzz than Cammeray. You guys have all been so helpful and I really do appreciate it!!
  3. Thanks MaryRose02 and Bungo!!
  4. Thanks for this, I will have a look at Crows Nest as interested if it has good bars and cafes etc. A walk across the bridge into the city sounds fab!! I have just looked at Balmoral Beach and it looks really nice and very handy!! I take it when it comes to renting somewhere, I cant arrange from the UK and would have to maybe arrange a hotel for the first week or so? Thanks!!
  5. Thanks very much! Iam liking the sound of Cammeray if it has a good choice of bars and cafes etc.

  8. Maryrose02 thanks for this info. Im not sure exactly where in Roseville so Id better find out. I had thought of Surreyhills too and also Balmain but cant decide if I want to be nearer beaches as being from a wee town in cold Scotland it would be so nice to live near a beach x
  9. Thanks Bungo. Its my first time on a forum so Im not sure how to reply direct to your comments x
  10. Thanks I will have a look on Domain. Manly looks fab but Im used to driving to work just now in Scotland so I want to try and live somewhere where the public transport commute isnt going to be too much of a hassle, lol
  11. Thanks I had looked at Kirribilla and thought that might be a good base. Are there many cafes, bars etc? Is an apartment to rent for approx $600 per week (with a balcony...) realistic? Ill have a look at St Leonards thanks. Hadnt though od Manly, are buses quite good from there? Thanks x
  12. Hi Im looking for advice on where is best to rent if working in Roseville. I wouldnt have a car so would need to commute to work. I was originally looking at South of the bridge but now thinking North may be better for getting to work. I would like to rent somewhere with a good busy vibe, a bit like Glasgows Westend. Nowhere too quiet or suburban as Iam single 30 something and would want to meet people and make new friends. Also and area with good links to get South and to beaches. Any suggestions and advice would be very welcome, thanks.
