Greetings! We are looking for a WWOOFer or two to live and work on our free range chicken and egg property near Alstonville. It's a great working property in an ideal location with views of Lennox Head and Ballina which are each about 15 minutes away. Alstonville is the nearest town with all amenities and is about 5 minutes away. Each day there will be a 4-5 hour shift. In exchange for some food and a caravan to stay in. This is not a paid position. These are the main duties: 1. Collecting and cleaning eggs 2. Feeding and watering chickens, ducks, goats, cows and dog 3. Planting, Maintaining and Weeding the Gardens 4. General activities as needed. This is a volunteer job. We are a regional primary industry property and volunteering your time with us will help you with the days needed to qualify for a 2nd year visa. We prefer at least a one-week stay to start with but prefer that you would stay 3-4 weeks. Also, smoking/drinking/drugs is better left off the property. Please contact us for more information.
