  1. Thank you. That is very helpful and reassuring.
  2. Thank you. As we were in different countries it seemed like a good idea to use an agent. I'll look at the general thread. Do you know if while waiting for the 820 to be granted I have to get a bridging visa for when the 300 expires?
  3. Hello all, I looked for a thread on this topic but had no joy. Currently in Oz on a 300 visa (prospective marriage) and are now married, so post honeymoon will be applying for the next stage 820/801. Is is it as onerous? Is as much information needed? We used a migration agent for the 300 but are thinking we might do the next bit ourselves. It seems like all he really did was to present in a well laid out way what documents we needed and then uploaded them once I had filled them in. Any any advice is welcomed.
  4. Thanks. That confuses me even more though as there was no date on my request.
  5. Thank you. I did and he said it wasn't something he thought it worth checking.
  6. Hello all, Briefly, I am in the UK, fiancé is in Australia (She has diual nationality). Using an Australian immigration lawyer/advisor. Application and all documents submitted 16/4/15 by the lawyer. HAP ID was issued and I did the medical back in April. Have now had an email from the case officer in the UK requesting certain documents that we have already submitted and that I book the medical. Is this a standard letter that goes out? Also the processing time has lept up from 9-12 months to 10-14 and we plan to marry in February '16 in Sydney. How long did your 300 take and/or is this likely to be an outside time? Might it go through quicker? Thank you all.
