  1. Good evening. I have read previous posts regarding James Wellbeloved dog food, but they were all from 2012. I am moving to Adelaide with my assistance dog in January and at the moment he is fed on James Wellbeloved since it is the food all assistance dogs from Dogs For the Disabled are fed on. Can anyone advise me as to a food that will be along the same lines as James Wellbeloved available in Australia. At them moment I am being advised that probably Royal Canin Lab specific is going to be my best option since I can transfer him over while still in the UK. My other option is Nutro, but that is not available in the UK and since he is such a problem eater (yes he is a full Lab!!) I don't want issues with food after the long flight with him not wanting to eat yet still having to work. Many thanks for any replies in advance. Cheers
  2. The three month deadline is from the date of allocation of a CO not from the date you submitted your application. Sorry about that. We had to wait from November through to February to get our 190. and it was 6 weeks after CO allocation that the visa came through. Hang in there it will come.
  3. we have just booked direct with singapore airlines. Best deal we could get. Tried with Flight checker, but they could not match singapore direct because of low number of seats left for September dates. Going with them again in January since we will have my assistance dog with me and it is the only flight that we can get him over on.
  4. I shop for veg at Aldi, then go to either asda, sainsburys or waitrose to top up with the staples such as organic milk, cheese etc.. that I can't get at Aldi. But my total bill for the week is approx £80:00 for 4 of us. with 70% of that spent at Aldi. Veg is fresh and lasts a week. Meat is good and tasty.
  5. In same boat. But our visa is granted and hubby doesn't know how to tell his mum.Could be fireworks, but it's our lives and our children's future we have to think about.
  6. Cheers for asking this Karen, I need to know the same thing!!
  7. Thank you that has put my mind at rest. Off to clean the garden stuff and bikes and wheelchair!!!
  8. Sorry for butting in, But we have a lot of pine furniture beds, wardrobes, tables book cases. I know they all are packaged up together, but are they going to have to be treated? Thanks for the advice.
  9. Take both, But since you have sent the correction form off then all your paperwork will relate to new passport. Dr can then scan both and attache both. You'll then have covered all bases. Alternative is can you cancel your emedical and apply again. Try talking to the medical assessor they might be able to advise you.
  10. We are in a similar boat. Medicals finalized on 15th January after referral of mine. Last update on our immi account is 8th January. Now been three months since the application went in. Waiting is terrible. Constantly wondering if it is going to happen and have we made a mistake.
  11. We found that most immigration agents wouldn't risk their statistics on someone if they had possible medical complications. Everyone recommended George Lombard since he can then take on any appeal if necessary. At the end of the day though no one can guarantee a visa grant, it will be the CMO who decides.
  12. Try contacting "study options". It is a group of people who are based in the UK but work for the Australian University admissions system. They have helped us with my sons application to James Cook. They will be able to advise you. http://www.studyoptions.com/
  13. was that after the medicals went in or from date of initial submission. We have been waiting 11 weeks since our application was submitted.
