  1. Thank you for the reply. Yes, I have looked at the example reference letter. My doubts are: 1) On Page: 12, https://acs.org.au/__data/assets/pdf_file/0020/7319/Skills-Assessment-Guidelines-for-Applicants.pdf, it says "Generic Job descriptions are not acceptable and will be accessed as non-suitable". However the sample reference letter is pretty generic. I am curious if I need to include technical information such as technologies used, etc 2) If technologies, languages, OS etc are required to demonstrate the knowledge gained, then do I need to include specific project information 3) I am afraid HR will reject the request if too much technical information is there. 4) One more doubt: On Page:13, it says Job references are not suitable if "the referee's relationship with the applicant is unclear". Is "HR" good enough? I am not sure if company allows a person to get a company's letter head I apologize if my questions are too common, but as you can understand I want to make sure everything goes as smooth as possible. As far as I understand, the first goal should be to get it on Company's letter head. Only if it is not possible to obtain or include too much project information, one can go for 3rd party statuary declaration that "may" be considered. PS: I have a B.Tech in EE (class of 2001-2005) and have 9.5 years of experience in IT industry.
