It certainly looks like a 12-month wait. Anyone got visa prior to the 8 - 12 month wait? Congrats to those who got their visa! I can only imagine how relieved you all are!

Hi all, I lodged my application partner application (off-shore) on the 31st of December with optimism that I will get it within few months. I applied online and was contacted by the High Commission after 2 weeks requesting the original police clearance to be submitted to them. Nothing after that and no case officer assigned yet.

Any update anyone? I was asked to submit my original police clearance to the High Commission but didn't hear anything after that. Would anyone know where spouse visa is processed? In Australia or off-shore (where the applicant is residing)? Thanks!

Hi all, Thought I will update on the status. Like I said before, I did my medical (prior to a CO being assigned) and the site has got updated that the medical is finalized. I do realize that I may need to do it again but just wanted to keep you all informed. Cheers!

My medical had a blood test (definitely not fun), urine test, x-ray and physical examination. I don't particularly love getting my blood drawn. Not sure if the medical changes from country to country though (i.e where you submit from)

Yeah, nothing updated on medical. My guess is it will take at least another 2 weeks before everyone's at work. Will definitely update once I'm assigned a CO

Hi. No - I haven't been assigned a CO yet. I submitted on the 31st of December so just few days only. Have you got your CO yet?

Hi. Thanks so much for letting me know, I didn't know that. I hope I don't have to do it again as it wasn't fun:( Fingers crossed - I get assigned a CO and don't need to redo!
