    Depression

Hi Maryrose02, i have been on and off citalapram for a few years now, I have never had any problems coming off them, I actually stopped them suddenly one day ( which is clearly not advisable, and I am not recommending it) but was fine, as I had other control measures in place, like my regular counselling, exercise, trying to socialise. music really helped me in that particular time, one song that means so much to me, but now can't listen to as it reminds me of my dark spell, is Emelie Sande Wonder, I think it was on repeat for about a month. every single persons depression is individual to the person, no two depressions are the same, but sometimes, hearing and trying other people's stories and pick me ups, can sometimes just be a little lift.

    Depression

Hi tiffanysamantha85, i am am guessing the 85 is your year of birth, same as mine? I have also suffered with servere clinical depression since I was 21, the most unlikely person you would ever think suffer from it (like all of us) unfortunately since having moved to Aus 2 months ago I have had a few bad episodes. I would really be interested in reading your blog? If maybe you could pm the address or link? I would greatly appreciate it. Writing is an amazing way to get out your emotions, it was the only way I was able to communicate during my Dark spells where I actually became a mute, and completely forgot how to speak! Don't worry this is certainly not the case now, and I could go on and on forever........ there is always light at the end of the tunnel x
  3. Hi Alansuspect, I'm being slightly premature here and just looking into the partner visa etc, am due to marry my Aussie fella in spring of 2016, what kind of items do they require? Is it bills in both names, joint bank accounts, photos? Cards etc to prove relationship?
  4. Hi IT Angel, Just to reiterate what everyone above has said is you have done the right thing! I have been in a long distance relationship for nearly 2 years now, me being from the UK and my now Fiance from Aus, I am currently living in Aus for a year, and the plan is for him to come back to the UK for a year and us marry at home (UK) it is the only thing I have ever asked him for, is that I marry at home with my family. We do both have that big decision to make as to where we are going to settle, but neither of us care where we go as long as we are together and what place we think together will be best to bring up a family one day! me and my partner have known each other over 7 years and decided to give the long distance thing a try..... It's my strongest and best relationship I have ever had!!! He wasn't for you, trust me we have all had a few of them....... It will happen when u least expect it, and hopefully when you come over here it will be seen as a fresh start, new place, new people, new lifestyle....... You will build in confidence!
  5. Hi Bernies 88' Fab question, I feel I am having the same problem, although if I'm honest I haven't been trying all that hard, as I'm financially ok for a while. But your responses have been most helpful. Good luck with the job hunt, hopefully the fact it's Christmas soon, stores will hopefully be looking for Christmas temps! happy hunting x
  6. Hi All, My names Lainey and moved to Australia roughly 7 weeks ago to be with my Fiancé, it's taken some time to get settled, the house is clean and the in-laws are amazing, but I think it's time to meet my own friends! i am 29 years old, love shopping, fitness, coffee all the usual social events. If anyone in the Tarneit' werribee, Hoppers Crossing area, would love to meet up? Cheers Lainey x
