Hi Thanks for getting back to me, where in Palmerston did you live? Is there anywhere you would recommend more than others, I have been told to look at the newer area's such as Roseberry, Bakewell & Johnston. We need somewhere that has good public transport, walking distance to schools, shops and parks etc as have 3 kids. Also what is public transport like around these areas and into the city, i do drive but wont be buying a car straight away. Thanks Emma

Hi, we have just been invited to apply for visas for NT, so trying to research areas of where to live. We have 3 children aged 13, 11 & 4. Can anyone recommend any areas of Darwin that are nice to live, we need to be somewhere that has good access to schools, shops etc and has excellent public transport as my mum is also coming and doesn't drive. We were told about 12 months altogether, I'm hoping we should know for definite by xmas depending how quick we get response to our EOI. How long did your visas take once you put in for them? Did you have medicals and police checks quite soon after? The link would be great thanks, im sure your make friends quickly, they far more friendly in Oz. How come you decided to move to NT then, is it just you and hubby or do you have kids? We have 3 kids. Emma

Hi Kelly, thats good you have somewhere temp to move, do you know anybody there? All my family are in Melbourne but only NT are sponsoring my occupation, we have been looking to go near Darwin possibly to Palmerston or near by. How did you find out about the temp accommodation? Emma

Hi Kelly, thanks for that. I think I managed to cover everything, although it is hard trying to squeeze it all in on two pages. We have just submiited our EOI so waiting patiently for invitation, did you wait long for yours? Congrats on getting your visas, were hoping to move July/Aug next year if all goes to plan. Hi Pom Queen NT is the only state sponsoring my occupation so we have to go there, wanted to know what are the best areas to live as a family of five, children are aged 13, 11 & 3, also any info on schools would be great. Thanks Emma
