Passed the visas earlier on today! Way less than 24 hours to get an answer back. Excited! The ball is starting to roll

I did it through STA. Apparently, if you do it directly via the OZ government, if there is a problem with the application, you have to pay the fee (£240 i think, can't remember) again to re-do/amend the application. Whereas STA, you don't have to. I f you guy's can, head down to one of the STA travel to Australia talks the are doing over the next couple Wednesdays across the country from 7:30pm. Free beer, information and prizes all to do with Australia

Me and my girlfriend just got back from STA and i've just did the online application for my Visa. Must say, STA are fantastic. Our agent waited an hour after his shift finished to wait for us which we didn't know until we got there. Love it!

For me, for a single from Heathrow to Sydney with a 3 day stop-over in Kuala Lumper, 3 nights accommodation in a 4-star hotel and breakfast costs £720, which i think is really good. Booking it this weekend. (for September next year)

Hey guy's! Just found out about this forum, exciting stuff! Me and my girlfriend are going next September, I think the 8th, booking it this weekend! Oh, and having a 3-day stop over in Kuala Lumpur Nothing is set in stone BUT, we're hoping that this plan goes something similar; Stay in Sydney from September until the New Year, local traveling and working in Sydney (staying for the NY fireworks) and the flying over to Cairns, renting/buying a camper van and travelling down on a really, really long road trip...looking to get a 3-5 person camper so open for more travellers to create memorable experiences! ABSOLUTELY BUZZING!!!

Me and my girlfriend are leaving September 8th next year and will have about £5000 each minimum, so 'hopefully' we are okay as well. Looking to stay in Sydney until the new year and then go traveling from Cairns through the East Coast. Looking to rent a camper van which i've seen a good one on travel wheels.com.au, £3,500 for 6 months. Well, i think that's good. Open to ideas
