About the Victorian Bathroom Company
A small family run business with an excellent reputation are seeking the services of an experienced floor and wall tiler in a sub-contract role. Having already built an outstanding name in the bathroom renovation industry, the Victorian Bathroom Company's tiler will maintain this through a high standard of workmanship, quality tiling and attention to detail.
About the role:
Reporting directly to the Business Owner, the successful candidates duties will include but not be limited to:
• Floor Tiling
• Wall Tiling
• Preparation of both wall and floor surfaces by removing old tiles, grout and adhesive, filling holes and cracks, and cleaning surfaces
• Waterproofing
• Correct use of tile-cutting tools to cut and shape tiles needed for edges and corners, and around objects such as fittings and pipes
• Removal and disposal of floor and wall tiles
• Ripping out of existing bathroom suites
This is a long-term ongoing opportunity for the right individual. Please do not apply if you are only looking for short-term work.
Hours of work: Dependant on job and paid per job (upon completion)
Role requirements; Skills & experience:
• Minimum 4-5 years floor and wall tiling or AQF Certificate IV
• Own ABN
• Own vehicle (full clean driving license) and tools
• Attention to detail / high standard of workmanship
• Reliable - excellent time keeping skills
• Can follow direction and instruction
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written
• Tidy
• Courteous especially when liaising with customers
