Heya! After we have completed the 6 months supervised practice do we then have to quit our job whilst we wait for the full registration to come through? I've just been reading that it is taking months to get the reg authorised...this seams a bit ludicrous!?!

hello im an OT in the UK and also applying for skills assessment, I've just started worrying about the same thing...how likely is it that we will be employed without the full registration? I currently have 5 years experience and I'm working as a senior OT but unsure of job prospects without that full registration?

Hello all Im an Occupational Therapist in the UK. Im currently applying for the skilled independent visa and hoping to be in Oz early next year. I was wondering how easy it is to find a company who will employ me and assist me to complete the stage 2 practice audit for my registration? does this put people off employing you if you only have provisional registration? I'm hoping to move to the sunshine coast which is where the rest of my family are currently living.....any advice would be greatly appreciated!!
