  1. Thanks for clearing it up, makes sense now. So bridging visa A becomes active on student visa expiry. Then can de-enrol in studies. Check
  2. Ahhh, student visa expires in a few months which will be well before the likely date before the PR is granted. What happens after it expires, I go onto what conditions?
  3. Thank you for your very fast response. On my bridging visa A, under visa conditions it says 'NIL'. Nowhere does it mention anything about maintaining conditions of a previous/substantive visa. How can I confirm that I no longer need to be enrolled in school as part of my visa?
  4. My journey to become a permanent resident is almost complete. I started with a student visa, have applied for a partner visa (subclass 820) and was granted bridging visa A. I have now been able to get a Medicare card. Does this mean I am can stop my studies and work instead? I couldn't find anyone on my bridging visa A that I was required to complete my studies, or maintain the conditions of my previous visa. Could anyone give me some insight? Warm regards
