i applied at oz post man

i paid priority processing fees , 244 + 108 = 352$ and collected it the next day from passport office. I received an email the next day that my passport was ready and i jsut cudnt believe it. I rant the passport office and the guy confirmed it was ready to be picked up.

Got my oz passport in two days. So excited and happy ! Did my application on thursday and collected it from the passport office on friday !

This is my last post on this forum. Just letting you know that I became aussie citizen last night. the ceremony was such a gala night, fully loved it. I am feeling so proud today !!

Hey Melbourneguy, i have confirmed that you can apply for aussie passport thru australia post. you gotta bring your citizenship certificate with you at the post office with some form of id as well. like your driver licence/medicare/your old passport etc. The post office will take a snap shot of ya and you will also have to complete a form for that purpose. Thats it. pay the fees and get the passport asap. I think it is 105 dollars extra you pay and get passport within two days or something. but check with oz post as well !!

Hey good news, my citizenship ceremony is on 13 october 2014. Hope everyone elses date comes through as well !! Mine is at Brisbane city council. Does anybody else have it in there ??

Hey Guyz , just letting you know that a good news has been conveyed to me by Immigration. My citizenship ceremony is next month now on 13 October. It took me little less than 4 months to get to my ceremony from the date i lodged my application. All the best to you now for your ceremony !! My timeline is as following: Submitted application : 19/06/2014 Email received for the test : 10/07/2014 Test date : 22/07/2014 Approval online : 22/07/2014 Approval letter : 4/08/2014 ( Well done Aussie Post !! ) Citizenship Ceremony : 13 October 2014 !! Hurrah Just got the letter from Immi confirming the above date for my ceremony. Cant wait for it now. All the best to everyone else now

Hey fellas , superbly good news. I undertook the citizenship test today and I passed it with flying colors !! I got 100 percent right answers and i finished my test in less than 5 mins. The immi officer was very nice to me, we had a very good conversation and no hocus pocus at all. She checked all my documents and took a mug shot of me and asked me to sit the test. I was only there for a duration of less than 35 mins in the brisbane immi building. My timeline is as following : submitted application : 19/06/2014 Email received for the test : 10/07/2014 Test date : 22/07/2014 Approval online : 22/07/2014 Approval letter : ?????? (expecting it to come in a week time from Canberra). Hurry up Aussie Post !! My online status says I have been approved and waiting for the ceremony. Now the final countdown begins from today !!!
