  1. Hi all, I didn't have time to reply last week as I was flying to Thailand before entering Australia at the end of this month. I received my visa 309 on the 10/11/2014. 8 months and 20 days, completely worth the wait, visa GRANTED!!!
  2. Hi Matt!! Coxy1804 and I both applied on February 10th, we are still waiting for our grants. My CO Is DP also, we emailed him around a month ago by replying to one of the emsils he had sent us and recieved a reply 2 days later. You can try emailing him for an update, my OH and I are trying not too as he pretty much gave us the go ahead to book flights for december 1st so we are just trying to be patient, whilst checking his email 10 times a day lol!! Fingers crossed we all get some good news this week!! Hi all, I'm happy to finally be at the 8 month mark, Not long now for the February applications.
  3. We're booked for the end of November after a long month through Thailand. We need it after the stress of waiting
  4. I'm waiting for the February applications to come through, just like the rest I'm hoping for sooner rather than later.
  5. Hi Grabri, We practically have the same dates. I also have flights booked that I can cancel a day before if my visa hasn't been granted. I booked them through STA Travel, they were reasonably priced as I had looked elsewhere. I fly out just after the 9 month mark at the end of November.
  6. As Snifter said, don't worry. I was told the same by my doctor and it was literally just that my immi account hadn't been updated. As it's the last step before being granted I know you just want to make sure everything is ok. Patience is definitely a virtue that i've had to learn.
  7. jen and Coxy if you go to your settings on the top right of the page you can add a personal signature, which is where most people put their current timeline for others to view. Just like at the bottom of my replies.
  8. I know what you mean, the hardest part is not being able to actively look for jobs as I have no exact time frame but it's so near to Christmas I think spending a little of the savings on enjoying our first months back in Oz will be the the way forward. Coxy I don't envy anybody given that time frame, plus we thought 9 months was a long wait. 9 months doesn't make the mind think that, thats almost a year but 14 months seems like a lifetime. Remember you get different CO's which means, one CO could be on holiday, another may be really busy etc so there are lots of variables.
  9. Hi Coxy, it only goes by the date it was first processed. As long as meds and police certificates were sent in within the required time frame it would make no difference. Also it seems there isn't an exact order to it as people who apply on the same day fully loaded may be granted weeks apart. The only thing I have noticed is that a complete visa with no setbacks seems to rarely go over the time frame given by your CO.
  10. Hi Jen, I'm at 6 months and a week too. The immi account will say approved for the Australian Visa holder and processing for the migrant until they're approved. Hopefully we're closer to the 8 month mark but from the looks of the people getting accepted it's nearer to the 9 month mark. Plus I've read that only 75% of visa's are approved within the given timeframe, which is another worry as I was looking to fly out at the end of November. All we can do is wait, which sucks
  11. I know, I have a few months left until I get a decision regarding my visa and I had a bunch of people in the same timeframe as myself so all the updates were making the wait easier. If we can't get the thread up and running again, hopefully people can start posting their updates here.
  12. I liked having things like my health check and police checks still left to do because it still felt like you're moving forward but once thats all done you just have the long wait, bring on October.
  13. Hi everyone, I just wanted to share my details. I'm TJ, my case officer is RN, I have been with my partner 2 years and we have applied for visa subclass 309 offshore online on 21/02/2014 Our Case Officer was assigned on 26/03/2014. Our medical and police checks were requested after the 26/06/2014 we submitted all on the 01/07/2014. Now the wait begins . . . We're looking to be back in Australia by the 26/11/2014.
  14. I will confirm and submit it in September, I may as well wait a few months for a miracle.
